A stunning link has emerged between Juventus and Inter regarding a Bianconeri move for one of the Nerazzurri’s stoppers. The defense is one of the main areas of concern for the Turin giants going forward as both Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini near the end of their respective careers.
According to a sensational report by Tuttosport (via JuventusNews24), coach Massimiliano Allegri is eager to shore up his backline with the onboarding of Slovak ace Milan Skriniar, who is touted to be a ‘dream signing’. Allegri is said to be a huge fan of the Inter defender and has closely followed his development in the Nerazzurri colors.
The former Sampdoria man is seen as a successor to Chiellini, who could be on his way out by the end of the season. Moreover, Skriniar’s contract expires in the summer of 2023, making him a contender on Inter’s books to leave the team as they would rather prefer to cash in on him than see him leave for free.
The 27-year-old center-back is an instrumental part of the Inter squad and while it will take more than an ordinary transfer push to lure him to Turin, it remains to be seen how the links develop.
He has 211 appearances for Inter since making his club debut in the 2017/18 season.
