Two Serie A giants have reportedly shifted their attention towards 17-year-old Uruguayan prodigy Patricio Pacifico, who is considered as one of the South American nation’s up-and-coming talents.
As per Gianluca Di Marzio (via FCInterNews), Inter and Bologna have shortlisted Pacifico as a potential investment for the future, with the aim of incorporating him into the Primavera setup before announcing his first-team inclusion. The Defensor academy talent is yet to appear for the senior team itself, making his transfer likely to either of the clubs’ Primavera sides.

Pacifico is a natural center-back with a versatile outlook, capable of starring even on the right flank in the wingback position. His Defensor contract exists until the end of October 2025. Both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoblu are amidst a squad overhaul and luring Pacifico is a realistic prospect for either side.
Pacifico made his Uruguay U17 debut aged 15 years, 11 months, and 8 days after being handed his debut by coach Diego Demarco in March 2022. He has made 18 appearances for the national youth team since.
