The Round 11 will cap off a busy Serie A week with a pair of doozies. It will be opened by a potentially explosive clash between Atalanta and Lazio, as the Biancocelesti seek to get out of a road slump. The most anticipated match is certainly Sunday nights’ Roma-Milan. The Giallorossi will attempt to stop the run of the League-leading team after doing it with Napoli last week.
As for the Partenopei, they will visit Salernitana, which are coming off a quality win against Venezia but remain in a precarious position. The third-placed Inter will host Udinese, while Juventus will look for a remedy to their sorrows against the fast-paced Verona.
Fiorentina will try to home cook again versus Spezia, as the Viola have been very up-and-down so far. Genoa-Venezia is shaping up to be a pivotal contest in the relegation struggle and maybe for the future of Davide Ballardini as well. The two sides are one point apart down low. Instead, Sassuolo and Empoli are in significantly better shape, especially the former after blitzing Juventus. It will be a battle between two of the most proactive sides in the League. The midweek round, thanks to heavy rotations, was not too harsh in terms of injuries.
