Juventus are about to welcome Lazio at the Allianz Stadium in a Serie A Round 26 match-up and the official lineups have been released – with a few surprises to report.
Andrea Pirlo decided to leave Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench, partnering Dejan Kulusevski with a fully recovered Alvaro Morata in attack. The coach has quite a few problems at the back with Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, and Matthijs De Ligt all unavailable.
The pair of center backs will thus consist of Merih Demiral and Danilo, with Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro acting as full backs. In midfield, Federico Bernardeschi won a starting spot after his encouraging performance against Spezia on Tuesday night.
For Lazio, Simone Inzaghi has a few problems in defense as well – so much that he is being forced to deploy Adam Marusic as right center-back in his back three. The Montenegrin’s usual spot as left wing-back will be covered by Mohamed Fares. No surprises in the attach, with Ciro Immobile and Joaquin Correa leading the front line.
