Serie A TIM 2020-2021 Fixtures – Don’t Make Any Plans!

The Serie A fixtures for the 2020-21 season were unveiled on Tuesday and delivered a challenging start to Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus and Antonio Conte’s Inter. The Bianconeri will face Sampdoria in their first game, then pay a visit to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, and then host Napoli.

The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, requested their first match against Benevento to be postponed, so their season will officially start on the second round as they face Fiorentina at home. They will then take a trip to Roma to play against Lazio and then come back home to face Milan.

In the second round, the spotlight will be on Roma-Juventus. The must-watch games of the third round are going to be Juve-Napoli and Lazio-Inter. Milan-Roma is the next big match to follow – happening in the fifth matchday, while Atalanta-Inter and Juve-Lazio will embellish the seventh round.

Napoli-Milan is the match-clou of Round Eight, and Napoli-Roma – the so-called Derby del Sole (“Derby of The Sun”) – will be played one week later. Milan-Juventus will be the main course of the sixteenth round, followed by Roma-Inter at the seventeenth. Finally, the Derby d’Italia Inter-Juventus will take place in the second to last round.

As far as the four City Derbies go, the first will played in Round Four on October 18 as Inter face Milan. On November 1, it will be time for the Derby della Lanterna between Sampdoria and Genoa, followed by the Derby della Mole Juventus-Torino on December 6. The last cross-town battle will be the Derby della Capitale between Lazio and Roma which is scheduled for January 17.
