Serie A Titans Plot Move for Verona’s Scottish Wingback Doig

Inter and Lazio have entered the race for Hellas Verona wingback Josh Doig, who arrived from Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian last summer. The Edinburgh-born left-back signed a four-year contract with the Gialloblu, but could very well be playing his first and last season at Verona if a substantial offer arrives from either the Nerazzurri or the Biancocelesti.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), even Atalanta, Napoli and Bologna are also keeping close tabs on the 20-year-old Doig’s status at Hellas Verona. His deal expires in the summer of 2026.

The Scotland U21 prodigy arrived from Hibernian for €3.5M but would only be resold by the Gialloblu for nothing less than €8M in the upcoming winter window. However, they have better chances of securing more in fees if they manage to keep Doig until the end of the season.

Doig has 2 goals and as many assists in 9 league games – amounting in almost 500 minutes of game time.
