Serie A Transfer Market Deadline Day Liveblog

Deadline day in Serie A probably will not have many crazy deals, but teams will finalize a host of acquisitions. The window will officially close at 8 pm local time. The post will be updated throughout the day with all the official announcements. Few were issued late yesterday. The biggest one was Atalanta perfecting their never-ending chance of Teun Koopmeiners. Milan had long sealed the deal for Tiemoué Bakayoko.

Udinese have signed 19-year-old right-back Brandon Soppy from Rennes for €2M to add depth to the position. They also bid farewell to the once highly touted backup goalie Simone Scuffet, who transferred to APOEL. Spezia added veteran Mehdi Bourabia from Sassuolo to their paper-thin midfield. The Neroverdi parted ways with another reserve, Lukas Haraslin, who has joined Sparta Prague. Venezia brought in a versatile piece from Lazio in Sofian Kiyine, who was at Salernitana last season.

8.33 pm: Spezia continue to bring in attackers, and they officially reached agreement with Genoa for the return, on a straight loan, of Kevin Agudelo. They also added Eddie Salcedo on loan.

8.36 pm: Genoa put together a trifecta of signings: Felipe Caicedo and Mohamed Fares from Lazio and midfielder Abdoulaye Touré from Nantes.
