Once again, we must start our tour with the possible transfer of Luis Suarez to Juventus which is still the hottest news in Italy. While it was claimed that the deal was almost done, some sources are starting to question whether it will eventually go through, reporting that a failure to secure an Italian passport for the Barcelona striker could jeopardize the whole transfer.

Some names have surfaced in the last couple of days as possible alternatives including Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Everton’s Moise Kean, both of whom are former Juventus players. With that being said, Suarez is still being considered the obvious favorite to bolster the Italian Champions’ attack.

Meanwhile in Milano, after officially announcing the arrival of Aleksandar Kolarov from Roma, Inter should complete the transfer of Arturo Vidal in the next couple of days. But this isn’t the only transfer saga that the Nerazzurri and Barcelona are engaged in, as the Catalans haven’t gave up on Lautaro Martinez just yet, but their offer of 65M euros is still too low for Inter who are asking 85 million for the young Argentine star.

Aleksandar Kolarov completed a move from Roma to Inter in this transfer market session and has already been joining his new Nerazzurri teammates

On the other hand, after officially announcing the capture of Sandro Tonali their neighbors Milan are said to be competing with Valencia for the signature of Fiorentina captain German Pezzella. In midfield, reports are claiming that the Rossoneri have decided to abandon the Bakayoko idea in favor of the signing of Benfica’s Florentino Luis.

Also on Milan’s radar are Dynamo Kyiv’s Left-Back Vitaliy Mykolenko, his teammate Vladyslav Supriaha, and PSV defender Marcos Senesi as Paolo Maldini is looking to add some fresh young faces to Stefano Pioli’s squad.

In the eternal city of Roma, Lazio should soon finalize Mohamed Fares’ transfer from SPAL, but the Aquile should rectify their relationship with defender Francesco Acerbi sooner rather than later, as the Italy international publicly criticized the club after some arguments during the negotiations for a contract extension.

On the other side of the city, Roma have sold Czech striker Patrick Schick to Bayer Leverkusen. Transfer rumors surrounding captain Edin Dzeko’s departure have recently cooled down, but in case the Bosnian ends up leaving the Giallorossi could replace him with the Russian “bad boy” Aleksandr Kokorin who is looking to leave Spartak Moscow despite joining the club only last month.

The negotiations between Napoli and Manchester City are still ongoing for the sale of Kalidou Koulibaly, and thus Napoli continue to be linked with alternative names for the Senegalese defender, with the latest being Lyon’s Jason Denayer. On another front, the Partenopei are still trying to get rid of the unwanted Arkadiusz Milik, and lately, Tottenham Hotspurs have been mentioned as a possible destination for the Polish striker.

Arkadiusz Milik’s situation in Napoli is becoming a problem as the Partenopei management and coach Gennaro Gattuso have made it clear that the player is no longer part of their projects…

After the breakdown of Rick Karsdorp’s deal, Atalanta are now stepping up to secure the return of Valencia’s Cristiano Piccini to his home nation. More worryingly for La Dea, captain Alejandro Gomez have received an incredibly lucrative offer from the Saudi-based club Al-Nassr, and the club have agreed to let Papu decide whether he wants to accept the offer or stay in Italy.

In Tuscany, Fiorentina have reached a deal to sign Giacomo Bonaventura who became a free agent after departing Milan. Another free agent could also be heading from Milano to Florence, as Borja Valero is being linked with a return to the Viola where he is still considered an adopted son of the city. Glasgow Rangers’ striker Alfredo Morelos has been mentioned as another potential Fiorentina transfer target.

While Fernando Forestieri made his Serie A return to Udinese after several years in England, Rodrigo De Paul could be heading in the opposite direction with clubs like Leicester City and Leeds United battling for his signature in this transfer market window.

In other news around the country, Hellas Verona completed a loan deal for Young Manchester City midfielder Ivan Ilic. Meanwhile, Genoa are being linked with several targets, including Parma striker Roberto Inglese, Inter long-time defender Andrea Ranocchia, and Atalanta wing-back Lennart Czyborra who initially seemed destined to Cagliari

Rogerio’s transfer from Sassuolo to Newcastle was all but confirmed a few days ago, but it was curiously called off for unknown reasons, and the left-Back’s future remains uncertain for the moment.

Rogerio’s move from Serie A club Sassuolo to EPL’s Newcastle United seemed a done deal but the transfer market is full of surprises…

Cagliari have secured the signing of young right-back Gabriele Zappa, and are also said to be interested in Torino’s Simone Zaza. The Granata in their turn are being linked with a move for Lyon defender Joachim Andersen and have sold Ola Aina to Fulham.

The newly-promoted sides are all very active during this transfer session. Benevento have secured the signing of Fiorentina midfielder Bryan Dabo, Crotone will rely on the experience of Luca Cigarini starting next season, while Spezia brought veteran Dutch goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet from PSV Eindhoven.

But the biggest hit of the day might belong to Parma who have reportedly agreed a quadruple deal which will see them bolstering their squad with four young players from Atalanta. The players involved in the deal are Ebrima Colley, Amad Traore, Filippo Melegoni, and Raoul Bellanova.
