While the English Premier League fans and La Liga lovers spent their weekend watching actual football, Serie A fans were more interested in tracking Spezia’s latest transfer deals, and luckily for you we have all the most recent Italian calciomercato news stacked in one awkward article.
The big news of the weekend came from Roma, as former captain Alessandro Florenzi left the eternal city towards the City of Love, as he joined the likes of Neymar, Mbappé, and Verratti at PSG.
Some better news for the Giallorossi fans came from England, as Man United’s Chris Smalling is set to rejoin Roma in the next coming days, while goalkeeper Robin Olsen could be heading in the opposite direction towards Watford.
The new Roma owners, Friedkin Group, have seemingly inserted some cash for the transfer funds, as the capital club is again being linked with Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik, which poses questions related to the future of current captain Eden Dzeko.
On the other hand, their city rivals Lazio are having a much calmer transfer market, but have finally set to land Fenerbahce’s Vedat Muriqi and could be doing the same with SPAL’s Mohamed Fares very soon.
