Silvio Berlusconi Makes Controversial Promise for Monza Players

Ex-Milan patron and former Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has plighted Monza players to be greeted in their locker room by a bus full of “wh**es” if they manage to beat one of the big teams this campaign. The Biancorossi, who sit 14th in the league table midway through the season, are enjoying their inaugural Serie A season following a historic promotion from Serie B.

Berlusconi took the opportunity to make the bold comments during Monza’s pre-Christmas party session, but not before praising coach Raffaele Palladino.

“We found a new coach, who was at our youth team, he is good, smart, kind, and able to stimulate our lads.”

He then went on to put himself in the spotlight.

“I decided to add an extra stimulation, so I told the lads you will play Milan, Juventus, etc, so if you beat one of these big teams, I will have you greeted in the locker room by a bus full of wh***s.”

Berlusconi has always headlined with a touch of controversy in his long career, not only on the football front, but also in politics, having been posted as the Azzurri Prime Minister in three different stints.
