Six European Frontrunners Including Juventus Vying for Vlahovic

‘Serbian bomber’, as Italian outlet Calciomercato calls him – Dusan Vlahovic’s rise to Serie A greatness has been thoroughly documented ever since his move to Florence from Serbia in 2018. The Fiorentina marksman is arguably the most asked-for striker in football at the moment, having been heavily chased by some of the best teams in the world.

Juventus have long been known to be interested in his services, but the Bianconeri’s financial predicament has barred them from making a move so far. La Viola expect nothing less than €70-80m for the striker, who themselves bought for a meagre sum of €2m from Partizan Belgrade.

Calciomercato details of five other teams who are frontrunners – along with Juventus – for his signature.

Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid are all favourites to land him. The La Liga and Premier League giants have kept close tabs on the 21-year-old for most of this season, where he has knocked in a whopping 20 goals and 4 assists in 24 appearances this season.

His breakthrough season in Florence arrived in 2020/21, when he scored 21 goals in 40 matches, but this season he has been a revelation for the Viola, scoring as many in almost half the matches played.

The most recent team to emerge as frontrunners among the aforementioned ones are Arsenal, who are preparing a bumper offer, according to La Nazione (via 90min).
