Juventus are one of the sides monitoring the growth of Davide Frattesi. The midfielder has had an outstanding rookie season in Serie A. Inter, Napoli, and Roma are also after the 22-year-old, who will be in high demand in the summer.
According to TuttoSport, the Nerazzurri were on him early, but the contacts between the Old Lady, Sassuolo, and his agents have been frequent in the last couple of weeks. The addition would not come cheap, as the Neroverdi ask for €25M.
Frattesi was recently interviewed by Juventus icon Claudio Marchisio for a DAZN production. A picture between the two on Instagram stoked the speculations about his future. The Bianconeri fans showered him with invitations to move to Turin and likened his traits to the former midfielder. The now pundit recalled that the youngster asked for his jersey after a match versus Roma in 2017 when he had yet to debut in the top league.
The Bianconeri are eager to add a prolific box-to-box. The offensive production out of such role has been lacking in the last few campaigns. They are keeping tabs on Paul Pogba, but he is more likely to head elsewhere considering his requests on wages. They have been longing to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for multiple years, but they will be probably priced out of the race if asked to leave. Renato Sanches and Frattesi are more feasible options for Juventus, despite the competition. The Sassuolo starlet has tallied four goals and three assists this season.
