Soulé Picks Argentina, Angelozzi Talks Juventus Links

Juventus could make an attempt to bring Matias Soulé back in January, but Frosinone haven’t been formally informed for now. Their director Guido Angelozzi commented to SportMediaset before the Coppa Italia tilt against Torino.

“We have a great relationship with Juventus. They gave us three strong players. There hasn’t been any request at this stage. Should it come, we’d sit down to discuss it. We try to keep a rapport with other sides. They sent him here because they trusted us, and we did too. We’ll see what happens till January.”

Soulé could soon be called up by Argentina after Italy tried to recruit him. He’d remain an option for the Azzurri if he didn’t feature, but the talent spoke clearly on the matter.

“I talked with Luciano Spalletti and told him the truth, which is that I feel Argentine, but thanked him for his interest. Then, Walter Samuel informed me that I was part of the provisional squad for the next matches. I’m waiting for the Albiceleste, but I don’t know if it’ll happen now or later on. I’m Argentine, I was born there, and that’s what my heart says.”

Soulé played coy on the Juventus buzz.

“I’ve read something, but I’m not thinking about anything currently. I’m focused on Frosinone. We play every three day and there’s no time to ponder. I don’t even want to do it. I don’t know about January, while there’s a long way to go before June.”
