Stanislav Lobotka Ties Himself Down to Napoli Until 2027

Napoli have been the best team in Serie A so far, unbeaten after 15 matchdays and enroute a first Scudetto title in over 30 years. A significant reason for their superiority over other Italian teams have been their dominance in midfielder and attack. One of the reasons for this has been Slovak ace Stanislav Lobotka.

The offer for renewing his contract has been on the table for quite a while now and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Tuttomercatoweb) inform that Lobotka has signed a contract extension, with the official announcement to arrive only in January. This will keep him at the club for a further two years, until June 2027, as his current deal expires in the summer of 2025. He will also reportedly have the choice to renew for an additional season.

The Slovakia international has been linked to a number of clubs due to his superior displays, most notable reigning European champions Real Madrid.

Lobotka has simply been instrumental in linking Napoli’s defence to attack. He has appeared 21 times fo the club this season, uninterrupted across all competitions.
