FIGC president Gabriele Gravina has been elected by UEFA as the federation’s vice-president, announced by re-elected president Aleksander Ceferin at the 47th UEFA Congress, held in Lisbon.
UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin participated in a pair of conventions in Italy after announcing that he would run again for the position. He spoke about a few topics, including Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis previously stating that teams should be able to block players from participating in the African Cup of Nations.
UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin weighed in on Italy’s bid to host Euro 2032: “I have talked a lot with Gabriele Gravina in that regard. I think that this is a nation that lives and breathes football. However, the level of infrastructures is pretty terrible."
