But despite such exploits as the Inter-Fiorentina goal-fest, the total scoring tally for the weekend is not a record for the Italian top-flight. The match-day of October 4, 1992, saw 48 goals scored divided among 18 teams - which makes an average of 5,33 goals scored per game.
