Milan will have to continue searching for a new left-back as Junior Firpo is likely to move to Leeds. The latest name suggested to serve as Theo Hernandez's backup is Groningen’s Gabriel Gudmundsson, who would be relatively cheap. The Rossoneri had been tracking the Barcelona defender for some time, but they wanted him only on loan. Milan are not the only teams interested in the 22-year-old Swedish defender though.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the player has given his consent to the move as the Rossoneri now hope to convince the Spaniards to give their go-ahead.

Lazio have long set their sights on Alessio Romagnoli, but they have not come to terms with him just yet. His contract with Milan expires in June.
