Roma suffered a 2-1 defeat away to champions-elect Napoli in a spectacular showdown at the Diego Maradona Stadium on Sunday night.  Victor Osimhen had put Napoli ahead in the first half with a wonderful goal, displaying excellent calmness and prowess with his finish. Jose Mourinho's Roma put in an impressive display here and managed to equalize through Stephan El Shaarawy in the second half. However, Giovanni Simeone sent the Partenopei into raptures when he found a winner late on to secure the victory.
