Twelve new Genoa players and staff tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total toll for the club at 14. Genoa informed that they will continue with the tests in order to detect any possible additional positivity. The name of the people infected so far were not disclosed yet. It is possible, however, that Genoa’s situation will affect their next Serie A game on Saturday.

Stickers Swapping: Perin Comes Back to Genoa, Pushes Radu Out

It’s no secret that Genoa have been having a poor season so far, but since new coach Davide Nicola took over they have shown signs of life. Their first move on the transfer market was bringing back on loan former goalkeeper and academy product Mattia Perin from Juventus. Perin’s return to his boyhood club coincided with the benching of Romania's Ionut Radu.
