Antonio Candreva took the lead for the visitors in the first half before half time changes from Jose Mourinho made a quick impact as Stephan El Shaarawy made t 1-1. Boulaye Dia put the Granata back in front not long after but it was Matic who rescued a point late on.

Roma had to come from behind twice at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday evening as they drew 2-2 against Salernitana in Serie A action. Stephan El Shaarawy got the first equalizer of the night when he cancelled out Antonio Candreva's superb opener before Boulaye Dia retook the lead just minutes later. However, Nemanja Matic was able to rescue a point for the Giallorossi with less than ten minutes to go as he turned the ball home from close range.
