Tammy Abraham: “A Win and a Draw, Let’s Continue Like This”

Following the Giallorossi’s enticing comeback to seal a point at the San Siro in a 2-2 draw, Roma striker Tammy Abraham provided his insight on the fixture.

While the capital club was trailing behind by two goals following a superb header from Pierre Kalulu and a brilliant strike from central midfielder Tomasso Pobegba after shortly coming off the bench, it seemed as if Roma were set to face defeat as they were incapable of creating any occasions due to Milan’s fantastic high-press.

However, a splendid header from Ibanez reignited hope, initiating a shift of momentum which lead to Tammy Abraham finding a last-gasp equalizer following rebound left by Milan’s shot-stopper off a set-piece.

With a draw on Milanese soil, the Giallorossi’s hard-work and resilience paid off as they are now level with cross-city rivals Lazio and three points away from fourth-placed Inter.

While speaking to the media, as relayed by Tuttomercatoweb, the English tallisman gave his input on the match as a whole:

“We had to be patient, this is a difficult stadium. We knew that an opportunity could come, I felt it in the finale and I was good. Before the break I had said that we would be back in shape. A win and a draw in two games, now let’s continue like this.”
