The big clubs will surely take note.

4- Nedim Bejrami (Empoli)

The young Albanian has the number 10 tagged to his name on the back of the jersey, and for a good reason.

The 22-year-old contributed in Empoli’s triumphant Serie B campaign last season, and he’s proving to be one of the most exciting up-and-coming attacking midfielders in first Serie A season.

Bejrami put on a brilliant display against Juventus in round 2, and he already has two league goals and as many assists to his name this season.

3- Mike Maignan (Milan)

Following the departure of Gianluigi Donnarumma to France last summer, the former Lille shot-stopper made the move in the opposite direction from Ligue 1 to Serie A.

Although he was left with a pair of giant gloves to fill, the Frenchman immediately impressed with some confident displays between the posts, swiftly winning the hearts of the Rossoneri faithful.

Moreover, Maignan’s ability to play with his feet added an important item to Stefano Pioli’s tactical toolbox.

2- Tammy Abraham (Roma)

Although we didn’t expect this rapport to flourish this soon, but since his landing in the Italian capital, Tammy Abraham almost immediately became a fan favorite at Roma.

The Englishman repaid the crowd’s love with some exciting and generous performances, and has so far contributed with two goals and three assists in his first Serie A season.

More importantly, the former Chelsea man is a pivotal element in José Mourinho’s tactical scheme, and he’s expected to reach new career heights sooner rather than later.

1- André Zambo Anguissa (Napoli)

Last summer, Napoli made very few transfer dealings. It was almost a non-existent transfer campaign. However, they did land a certain player on deadline day who turned out to be their missing piece.

The Cameroon international is yet to register a single goal or assist in his first Serie A season, but his importance for Luciano Spalletti’s midfield can’t be denied.

The former Fulham man runs hard and fight for every ball while helping his side in bringing the ball forward.

Napoli currently sit at the top of the table with a perfect record, and Zambo Anguissa deserves a significant portion of the credit.
