Torino Coach Juric Ahead of Venezia Game: “An Opportunity to Restart”

After the breakdown in the final minutes of the match against Udinese, Torino want to get all three points against Venezia. In a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A game, the Granata boss, Ivan Jurić, spoke about the obstacles that they may face against a team like Venezia who is fighting to stay in Serie A.

Jurić said: “Venezia is a team full of talents, many of them are unknown but the ones who follow them knows it. They are very fast when they attack and they are well trained. They keep trying to stay away from relegation, I expect a game to the limit. For us, it is an opportunity to restart. We have done a lot of positive things lately and now it is time to get back on track.”

He then talked about few players, with a focus was on the striker and goalkeeper positions: “Andrea Belotti joined us for few trainings, it is clear that he has not played in a while. I would like him to approach the team as much as possible and I will see after today if he will be ready to be on the pitch. Vanja Milinković-Savić played a remarkable season so far, better than I expected. Making mistakes is a part of the game, but he is peaceful and now it is time to go on.

Torino will play Venezia at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Saturday at 8.45 PM CET. The Granata currently sit 10th in the Serie A table, while the Arancioneroverdi are sitting 18th and are heavily involved in the relegation dogfight.
