Torino Head Issues Warning to Inter Over Bremer Deal

Bremer appears destined to join Inter once Milan Skriniar joins PSG, or perhaps even before that. However, despite already meeting Torino, the Nerazzurri have not met the asking price just yet.

Granata president Urbano Cairo provided an update on the talks during an event about his TV channel La7 (via Tiscali).

“He is an extraordinary player. I promised him that I would sell him when we got an adequate offer. However, everything is relative. I hear that Skriniar is worth €70M, so I think the price tag of our defender should be higher than the sums currently floating around. We aim to fulfill his request to leave. In any scenario, he will join an elite team because they are the only ones that can afford him.”

The chairman answered a question about whether prodigy Cesare Casadei could be part of the Inter package for Bremer.

“They told me that he is a quality youngster, but I do not know him that well.”

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the center-back has decided to join the Nerazzurri back in December, and he has already agreed to personal terms. On the other hand, Juventus would try to hijack the deal if Matthijs De Ligt departed, La Gazzetta dello Sport relays. Torino would like to get €50M for their ace.

Our Take on Inter and Juventus Dueling for Bremer

La Beneamata was believed to have wrapped up the negotiation for Paulo Dybala months ago, but that was not the case, although unpredictable circumstances did arise, such as Romelu Lukaku being available. While the Nerazzurri are the frontrunners, it is not over until the parties put pen to paper. And the Bianconeri are no strangers to handing out hefty fees to pluck stars from their archrivals.
