Eager to sign a center-back in the summer, Milan are doing all they can to lure longtime Ligue 1 target Sven Botman from Lille, but Gleison Bremer is also on their wish list. With Alessio Romagnoli expected to leave on a free transfer, the Dutchman is the Rossoneri’s primary target, but at the same time, the club is preparing a contingency option if all does not go according to plan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bremer could well be in the midst of a transfer war between the two Milan sides. Just like the Rossoneri, Inter are preparing to lose some of their star defenders in Alessandro Bastoni and maybe even Milan Skriniar. The Brazilian’s decision is going to be paramount ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
With a transfer market value of €50M looming over his head, several other top European heavyweights, including Bayern Munich, will try their chances for the Torino center-back, who enjoyed arguably his most impressive season so far. The 25-year-old has racked up 110 caps for the Granata since making his European debut in 2018/19.
