Inter target Gleison Bremer put in a terrific display at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, as he played a key role in denting the Nerazzurri’s momentum in the title race during the 1-1 draw. The 24-year-old Brazilian opened the scoring after just a dozen minutes by capitalizing on a defensive mishap after a corner kick around the six-yard box, before going on to marshal his backline against the visitor’s relentless attacks.

Although Bremer failed to stop Alexis Sanchez from scoring the equalizer in the third minute of stoppage time, he played a monumental role in keeping Inter at bay throughout a poor second-half display by the home side.
He made 7 out of the Granata’s 31 total clearances in the match, and recovered the ball 13 times. He also managed to accurately complete 34 out of 41 passes – an 83% success rate. All these, along with his ability to win duels earned him the Man of the Match accolade. The Brazilian won 4/6 ground duels (67%) and 5/9 aerial duels (56%).
It is a display that truly sends a message to some of the several top clubs hunting for his services, including the evening’s rivals Inter. However, the Nerazzurri will have to fend off interest from Bavarian giants Bayern Munich in order to attract him to Giuseppe Meazza.
Also, Bremer is the highest scoring defender in Serie A since 2019, with 11 goals.
Inter are still considering Gleison Bremer as one of priorities for summer window. He's in the list – as he's performing at top level with Torino, while Bayern & top European clubs sent scouts to monitor him. ?? #transfers

He has also been linked to Newcastle United in the past, and his transfermarkt value of €20m makes him an accessible target for almost every interested club. He is contracted with Torino until the summer of 2024, having extended his contract for a further two years last month.
Of all the interested suitors, Inter are the closest to securing his services after reports emerged in Corriere dello Sport (via OneFootball), of an agreement in principle by the club for the defender.
The Brazilian played sporadically in his first season in Europe after joining from Brazilian champions Atletico Mineiro in 2018, but has since become a mainstay in Torino’s defence. The hard-headed center-back has 3 goals and 1 assist in 26 appearances this season, and 13 goals in 103 caps for the Turin natives overall.
