Tottenham Could Help Reunion Between Juventus and Barcelona Misfit

Juventus have to part ways with Aaron Ramsey before making the final push to bring back Miralem Pjanic. They could get some unexpected help from their old director Fabio Paratici. Tottenham and Wolverhampton are pursuing the Welshman, Sport reports.

According to Tuttojuve, Juventus were asking for €10M to sell Ramsey in previous weeks. Since nobody complied, they would be happy to just get rid of his salary now. The Spurs are open to adding him for cheap, although the player’s could impact the transfer. As a former Arsenal mainstay, Ramsey might not be too keen on joining the crosstown rivals and turn down the move.

Paratici contributed to signing the Welsh international on a free from the Gunners in 2019. Due to multiple injuries, he has played just 65 matches during his time with Juventus, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists. The 30-year-old midfielder hinted at his departure in a presser before the Euro. He would reportedly prefer a comeback to the Premier League.

If Ramsey did leave, Juventus would have an opening for Pjanic. The Bosnian maestro is eager to return and has rebuffed the inquiries from Roma and Inter, the Spanish outlet reports. He would head back on a season-long loan with the option to extend it. The move would allow Barcelona to at least save on his wages. He would not be the only addition in the role. Juventus continue to work on the Manuel Locatelli deal and will have a new meeting with Sassuolo Thursday, Alfredo Pedullà relayed.
