Tottenham Director Paratici Aiming to Raid Former Club Juventus

Long-time Juventus chief football officer Fabio Paratici, who now heads executive functions at Tottenham Hotspur, is planning to lure two of his former players from the Bianconeri.

Reports from Calciomercato relay that Paratici is aiming to bring in Weston McKennie and Dejan Kulusevski for a combined transfer sum of €70m. Antonio Conte’s Spurs are said to be in need of reinforcements and managing director Paratici feels there is no better place to look at than Juventus.

Former Schalke talent McKennie has fallen out of favour under Massimiliano Allegri, appearing sparsely over the course of the season so far. The Bianconeri will be ready to hear offers for him – the report mentions of ‘atleast €35m’ needed to convince his transfer, while he has a transfermarkt value of €25m.

Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski is another prospect for the North London club who will arrive for a similar rate.

He moved back to Juventus from Parma after a loan stint, but since then has not hit the heights expected of him. Just like McKennie, the Swede has also appeared momentarily, etching in just 724 minutes of game time from 21 matches this season.
