Tottenham Newcomer Muses on Rough Juventus Stay and Transfer

Dejan Kulusevski left Juventus in January after just 18 months, as he did not manage to establish himself. He discussed his departure in an interview: “Sincerely, I do not know what went wrong during my spell in Turin. Sometimes it happens in football. I did not get a lot of minutes and could not play up to my potential.”

The youngster talked to Sky Sport: “Life goes on though, and I have had many good moments with the Bianconeri. The top one was the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta last season.”

Kulusevski is enjoying his time at Tottenham after leaving Juventus: “That is in the past. I am in London now, I am playing regularly, and I am very happy. I was very impressed by how they train here. The Premier League is like a different sport. It is much faster, more intense, and physical. Fouls are basically non-existent.”

The Swedish starlet discussed his first encounter with Antonio Conte: “He welcomed me and told me to help their offensive phase. He did not ask me for anything special. I just have to work to become part of their schemes. It is not easy to move from Serie A to England, and the process takes some time.”

Kulusevski is looking to find at Tottenham the success he did not have at Juventus: “First of all, I aim to be in a comfortable spot on and off the pitch, along with my family. If I stay fit, I can log many goals and assists. I am the type of person that never gives up. As a team, we want to finish in the top four. It is very challenging, but we have to get after it. I believe in it because the squad is very strong.”
