Tottenham Prepare Italian Upset with Torino Double Swoop

Tottenham Hotspur have been ever-active in transfer market since the arrival of coach Antonio Conte in the dugout. Now the North Londoners eyeing two sweep away two Serie A stars from the same club with a bumper offer ahead of the 2022/23 season.

According to Tuttosport (via FCInterNews), Spurs are planning to raid Torino defensive duo Gleison Bremer and Wilfried Singo with a double swoop amounting upwards of €50m. Both players are said to be held in high regard by coach Conte, who has already convinced sporting director and ex-Juventus man Fabio Paratici for a heightened presence in the summer market.

Moreover, both players were scouted earlier last month by Spurs personnel to watch the duo in action in Torino.

While Singo has not been followed as closely, 25-year-old Bremer has grabbed the attention of several top dogs, including Inter, who are said to be favorites to land him in the summer.

The London natives believe that offering cash upfront will give them an edge of other suitors interested in both Bremer and Singo. With Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur already faring well at Spurs, it is hard to see why the aforementioned targets cannot thrive should they link up with Conte.
