Tottenham are in advanced talks with Fiorentina to sign Sofyan Amrabat. The two sides are nearing an agreement. The deal should be finalized once the Spurs will have parted ways with Tanguy Ndombélé, Calciomercato.com reports.

PSG are intensely pursuing the French midfielder, Marca informs. Roma and Everton are also eyeing him, but they are not the favorites. While he has not impressed at White Hart Lane, Antonio Conte aims to replace him with a player with similar characteristics.

Tottenham are discussing an initial loan spell with a €15M option to buy with the Viola. The player is keen on transferring. He had Torino and Verona among his preferred destinations before the London outfit materialized.

The Moroccan international has not fully found his footing in Florence after a €20M move from Verona in June 2020. While he was a regular last season, he has started just once in Serie A play in the current one. At times, coach Vincenzo Italiano singled him out for his lack of versatility. He thrived with the Gialloblù under Ivan Juric in a two-man midfield. Instead, he has struggled to adapt to a three-man line.

Fiorentina director Daniele Pradè discussed Amrabat to Sportitalia Monday, as the negation with Tottenham was about to start: “We have had contacts with many teams. After the purchases we made, we are focusing on moving players that are not getting many minutes, and he is one of them. He is strong and wants to feature more. He is suffering because of this situation.”
