Tottenham to Edge Juventus, Arsenal and City for Fiorentina Marksman

On the back of his nation’s brilliant last-minute win against Portugal that sealed their spot in next year’s  FIFA World Cup in Qatar, latest news has emerged of Dusan Vlahovic being ever so close to a move to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.

English outlets, including The Express, mention of Tottenham’s ‘almost-done’ deal for the highly-rated Fiorentina forward. But it is Italian broadcaster Corriere dello Sport who have concrete reports of the English club’s interest in the youngster.

The North London giants have reportedly tussled out Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid for the signature of the 23-year-old.

Juventus, who had been hoping to lure him, are unable to match the asking price of €70m due to their inferior financial outlook at present, as opposed to Spurs who are motivated by the presence of new manager Conte.

The Italian tactician has already given chairman Daniel Levy his transfer wish list and Vlahovic is apparently one of his priority targets. He currently has a transfermarkt value of €50m, but Spurs will need to shell out atleast €20-30m more if they need to beat out competition and sign him in the upcoming winter transfer window.

La Viola president Rocco Commisso recently gave an official statement to the club’s channel, confirming that the striker will not be renewing terms of contract with the Tuscan giants.
