Two Premier League Sides Join the Race for Inter Target

Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly among the many clubs interested in signing Inter transfer target Julian Alvarez.

According to Calciomercato.comthe 21-year-old forward has attracted interest from several clubs that include the Nerazzurri, Real Madrid and Milan. Now, Man United and Man City have both joined the race for the Argentine’s signature.

Alvarez is among the finest young talents in Argentina and has been quite impressive for River Plate this season so far, amassing 17 goals and seven assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.

The forward’s performances at club level saw him being called up to the national team and he was a part of the squad that won the Copa America a few months ago. During the tournament, he played a few minutes in Argentina’s group fixture against Bolivia.

Alvarez has been outstanding for River Plate and there’s little doubt that a European Cup will snap him up soon. Inter have some good attackers in their squad but with Edin Dzeko well into his mid-30s, the club could do with a young attacker who could help them in the longer run.

Signing Alvarez would be a major boost for the Nerazzurri but it won’t be an easy task for them given the other clubs interested in his signature.
