UCL Finalists Liverpool and Real Madrid Out to Capture Juventus Target

Earlier last year, Juventus were only one of the few clubs in the race for AS Monaco starlet Aurelien Tchouameni. However, the transfer market scenario for the French youngster has changed dramatically, with a host of clubs now in the fray for his signature.

Despite 22-year-old Tchouameni’s recent comments, perhaps pointing at an extended stay at the French outfit for another year, top European heavyweights still believe they can snatch the highly-rated midfielder this summer.

Speaking to the media, the former Bordeaux man commented: “I am contracted here until 2024 with the option until 2025. We’ll see what the future has in store for me. The transfer window is always a period where lots of things can happen.” (via RMCSport)

Monaco sit fourth in Ligue 1 with only a handful of games to go, and they will need to clinch a top-three spot to hold on to their prized players.

He was quizzed as to what his decision might be if UCL football is available at Monaco next season.

“Yeah, why not? The elimination last year stuck in my throat. Playing Champions League football with Monaco isn’t something that would displease me,” he said.

Champions League finalists Real Madrid and Liverpool are now in the mix for his signature, and so are Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal, according to latest report from England (via TuttoJuve). Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping close tabs. With so many clubs now on his tail, Juventus’ chances of luring him seems bleaker with each passing day.

Any interested club should be ready to part with upwards of €50-60m if they are to secure his services.
