Udinese are ready to negotiate with Juventus for Nahuel Molina. The Friulani executive addressed his star in an interview: “He reminds me of Juan Cuadrado since he is a proper flank specialist, and he can score and assist. He is able to play as a fullback, as he does with Argentina, or as a wing-back. In my mind, he deserves to move to a top club. Their interest does not surprise me, as you can not go wrong by purchasing him.”
The executive talked to TuttoSport: “We have an excellent relationship with them, but other top European clubs have inquired as well. I expect a nice bidding war in the summer. I would not take anything for granted, though. The Pozzo family has the economic strength to retain their best players. Still, we do not keep anybody against their will.”
Juventus are tracking Molina even though Juan Cuadrado, Mattia De Sciglio, and Danilo are all likely to stay. The Colombian veteran notched his 40th seasonal appearance versus Cagliari. The threshold activated the clause to prolong his contract for another season. However, the Bianconeri brass are negotiating a longer deal at a lower salary, Goal’s Romeo Agresti reports.
Marino also invited the Old Lady to go after Rodrigo De Paul: “He must become a full-fledged starter for Atletico Madrid, as it happens with Argentina. If his situation does not improve in a hurry, I would not be stunned to see him return to Serie A. He would be perfect to replace Paulo Dybala.”
