Juan Musso Winks at Inter Amid Buzz: “They Are the Best Team in Italy”

Juan Musso is likely to leave Udinese to join a bigger club this summer. He spoke highly of Inter, one of his possible destinations, in an interview with Goal.com. Captain Samir Handanovic has a year left in his contract, and it is unclear whether the management will decide to move on from the 36-year-old goalkeeper and sign a new starter.

“Playing in Champions League is a dream of mine; only top teams participate in it. I would be thrilled if one of them made an offer that favored both myself and Udinese.”

On his former teammate Lautaro Martinez: “He is part of a great club, the best one in Italy, with an incredible history. But I am serene, I do not lose any sleep over transfer market rumors. We have a good relationship, and we see each other very often, especially with the national team. I saw him grow in the youth academy of Racing, now we are together in Serie A.”

Musso was reportedly close to leaving last year: “I am not sure about that, the press makes a lot of stuff up, and I do not follow it too much. I have had two good seasons, and there was some interest, then the pandemic affected the outfits and imposed some cuts.” He has also been linked to Roma and Atalanta.

On Rodrigo De Paul: “He is a key player for us, and he improved a lot over his time here. We have a nice group of Argentinians year, and we are doing well. We help each other out a lot.”
