Udinese on a Mission to Capture Two Attacking Talents

I Friulani have made their intention concrete of bolstering their squad after the departure of key player Rodrigo De Paul to Atletico Madrid. According to latest reports from Fabrizio Romano, Udinese have enquired the availability of 19-year-old Alabian striker Armando Broja from Chelsea on a one year loan i.e. until June 2022.

Broja developed into an instrumental player for Vitesse Arnhem last season, where he was loaned out. Talks between Chelsea and Udinese are ongoing amid the notion that a one-season loan move might prove to be instrumental in Broja’s development as a productive striker, given his young age. He is a promising prospect upfront, thanks to his versatile playing style that allows him to don different roles in the final-third.

On the other hand, another 19-year old talent, RB Leipzig’s Lazar Samardzic will be moving to Udine on a permanent transfer – in the range of €3m. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the East German club offered to loan him out, but Udinese were ready to ‘sniff out the deal’.

The highly-rated left-footed attacking midfielder has previously been sought out by Milan, Juventus and Barcelona due to his agile and peculiar style of play.
