Udinese Wingback Reacts to Juventus Links, Names Favorite Fullbacks

Udinese wingback Nahuel Molina has emerged as one of Serie A’s up and coming stars in his breakthrough season in Udine, having arrived in 2020 from Boca Juniors after a loan spell at Argentine rivals Rosario Central. The Friuli signed Molina on a free transfer and contracted him with the club until the summer of 2025, and he is already paying back the faith the club put in him.

Strong performances attract the sights of big guns and Juventus in particular are reportedly interested in bringing the Argentine talent to Turin. He has scored more goals (6) than any other defender in the league, meanwhile also contributing four assists.

The 24-year-old has now reacted to the interest of the Bianconeri in an exclusive interview with Tuttosport.

“The interest of Juve and the big clubs is nice, but now I don’t think about it and I am focused on the championship final with Udinese,” he said (via Calciomercato).

Having already scored six goals, the defender is looking out for more chances to convert his opportunities into the back of the net.

“I reach 10 goals and I take the whole team out to dinner. Then I dream of the World Cup in Qatar with Messi.,” he commented.

He then went on to name the fullbacks he looks up to, all of who ply their trade in the Premier League.

“My favorite full-backs are Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold, Chelsea’s James, Manchester City’s Walker and Cancelo.”

Finally, he revealed who thinks will grab the Scudetto championship title.

He said: “Inter will win the Scudetto.”

Udinese sit 12th in the league table with 39 points from 31 games as they seek to finish in the top half of the standings with only a few matchdays left to play.
