Verona-born Udinese wingback Destiny Udogie has not ruled out a move away from Serie A in the future, having impressed heavily at the Dacia Arena last season, garnering 5 goals from 37 appearances.
The wing-back spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport in a recent interview about his future plans and also addressed the links to the Bianconeri (via Calciomercato).
“The market rumors about Juventus? I saw them on social media. But I was calm, I was thinking about recovering. First of all, I’m fine in Udine. I want to play and improve, both defensively and offensively.”
Udogie then went on reveal his intention of playing in the Premier League.
“I would gladly have an experience in England down the line.”
On another note, he set his targets straight for the immediate future.
“My goal is to get to Roberto Mancini’s senior national team, the coach told me he wanted to take a close look at me.”
The powerful wingback made his Italy U21 debut in September 2021.
