A tougher task awaits former Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi. His Brighton has been paired up with Ajax, Olympique Marseille, and AEK Athens in the toughest group of the lot. Favorites Liverpool will face LASK Linz, Union St. Gilloise, and Toulouse.

Roma CEO Lina Souloukou reacted to the Europa League draw to Sky.
“We mustn’t underestimate our opponents. The level of this cup is very competitive. The first phase is important. We’re aware of the value of our coach and squad. Our expectation is to go all the way. I arrived four months ago, so it’s early for me to take stock of everything. Surely, the situation is positive. I was aware of the passion of the fans. It’s incredible to witness it from close range every day. Working in such a passionate city is an honor and a big responsibility.”
Atalanta exec Umberto Marino dished as well.
“Sporting CP has great tradition and played in Champions League several times and are used to his kind of stage.”
