Unnamed English Club on the Hunt for Inter Marksman Dzeko

Still a starter at 37, Edin Dzeko has proved invaluable for Inter since signing from Roma two seasons ago. The Nerazzurri are eager to tie the Bosnian down to a contract extension, as he nears the end of his club deal in the summer of 2023. Negotiations are underway, but the lure of a Premier League outfit risks preventing Dzeko from penning his signature.

As per latest reports from FCInterNews, Dzeko is being targeted by a top tier mid-table club from England. The unnamed club is reportedly ready to offer Dzeko a €5M net per season contract, one more than what Inter are bringing to the table. He already earns €5M net plus bonuses at the Italian giants currently.

Moreover, there lies the prospect of finishing his career in the league where he made a name for himself with Manchester City, playing a pivotal part in their rise to domestic dominance last decade. He has 72 goals in 189 appearances for the Cityzens.

The former Roma striker is still under the contract spotlight, and is expected to come to a conclusion soon enough regarding his future.
