Real Madrid and Dani Ceballos’ contract renewal talks are still far off. The Spanish midfielder’s current deal expires in June 2023, and he has yet to agree to a new one, with a summer exit not off the table.
As per Marca (via MilanNews), the former Real Betis midfielder is a player in demand not only in Spain, but also in Italy, as an unnamed Serie A club has reportedly made an offer to sign him. Ceballos has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid for some time, with a contract expiring at the end of the season.

The midfielder has been previously linked with moves to Inter and even Milan, but at the moment the unnamed Azzurri club remains in the dark. Real Betis and Atletico Madrid are two other contenders in line.
With Luka Modric and Toni Kroos perhaps staying for another season, and the incoming signing of Jude Bellginham, Ceballos is not expected to play a central role going forward in Los Blancos’ plans. However, he has been used regularly this season as an impact player off the bench by Carlo Ancelotti.
