US Starlet Agent Sheds Light on Potential Move to Inter

Major Soccer League starlet Ricardo Pepi has been linked with a European move umpteen number of times this season and Inter are one of the clubs poised as suitors for the young American forward.

His agent, Jaime Garcia, has now given an exclusive interview to FCInterNews – shining light on a variety of topics, including commenting on Inter’s position as a ‘top club’ for his signature.

The 18-year-old has witnessed a tremendous almost four-fold rise in value – jumping to his current market value of €8m from €2.5m in just a couple of months (transfermarkt)– and garnering the attention of several top clubs, including Bayern Munich, Milan and Inter.

When quizzed about the striker’s best features and what’s he like off the field, Garcia said: “The sense of the goal and his intuitions, without a doubt, he knows where to position himself on the pitch. He is a phenomenon. I have never met a hard worker like him. The boy studies at the university and is 100% dedicated to improving himself day after day. A persistent and polite person.”

To add spice to the rumors already surrounding his potential departure from FC Dallas, the agent mentioned Pepe’s readiness to take on a new challenge, as European heavyweights jostle for his signature.

He said: “You are never ready until you are, one must always take the step to be able to grow. Out of respect for the various clubs I don’t want to say who is interested in Ricardo.”

However, Garcia gave his thoughts on Inter’s interest in the youngster.

“The champion team of Italy. A top club, an incredible institution,” he exclaimed.

The centre-forward has already revealed his dream of playing for a top club and it might be just a matter of time before he moves across the ocean and settles into the European playing style.
