Dusan Vlahovic believes that the goals will come despite a slow start and that the arrival of Thiago Motta will end up being beneficial for him. He spoke to DAZN in a collaboration with EA FC 25 (via SOSFanta).
“I’m comfortable under the new coach. His style suits me more. Anyway, I made myself available to Massimiliano Allegri nonetheless. I’ve always done gladly what he asked. Motta demands to be disciplined and do the things that seem easy but aren’t on and off the pitch.”
Vlahovic talked highly of Juventus at a time when his future at the club seems in peril.
“It means many things to me: pride, a winning mentality, family. Everything is different here. The responsibility that comes with wearing this jersey is very big.”
“I don’t set limits for myself and aim to raise the bar all the time. I’ve never been happy even in the season where I bagged 24 goals. You can always do better.”
Vlahovic was quizzed about the title race.
“It’ll be a duel with ourselves. Many sides can fight for it, and it’s too early to tell. Inter were the best side last season without a doubt. They are very strong. However, the details will decide the league in this one.”
Vlahovic has been urged to keep his cool.
“At times, I get agitated if things do go well. It’s something I’m trying to change because it’s pointless. Novak Djokovic and Cristiano Ronaldo said that the ability to erase mistakes is the most important one. Balance is key. You have to be constantly at your peak, which is not easy. I need to have an excellent behavior to become a reference point.”
