While they prepare for some big moves, Juventus are looking after the future of their youngsters and sold Giacomo Vrioni and Franco Israel.

Young Loanee Advances His Candidacy for Juventus Attack

Giacomo Vrioni had a great season while on loan at WSG Tirol, and Juventus are considering him to serve as Dusan Vlahovic’s backup. The 23-year-old bagged 21 goals and dished 5 assists in 30 appearances. The Bianconeri signed him for €4M from Sampdoria in 2020.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Besiktas, Groningen, Anderlecht and Getafe expressed interest in purchasing him. The youngster talked about his future with TuttoSport.

“I am very proud of what I have achieved in Austria. Moving abroad was a big gamble, but I think it paid off. The transfer market will dictate my price tag. I am focusing on the matches with Albania now.”

Vrioni aims to be part of the Juventus roster.

“I wish to be back with them. I feel more ready and mature than in the past. We will see what the executives will decide alongside my agent Silvio Pagliari. Dusan Vlahovic does not look like a youngster. I was impressed with his fierceness in the box. You can not score 24 goals without that kind of spirt.”

“I have developed a nice friendship with Alvaro Morata, which goes beyond the pitch. When you train with champions of that caliber, you learn just by watching them. You pay attention to how they move and shoot. I tried to take away as much as I could from Cristiano Ronaldo, starting with his attitude. This year, I stayed after practice to do drills to improve my first touch and finishing skills. The hard work contributed to the success of the recent campaign.”
