Andrea Pinamonti is having a career year at Empoli and just took down Napoli, helping Inter in the title race: “At first, I wanted to tie my personal best of five goals. Then, it became feasible to reach the double-digit threshold. I tend to look at the facts and take it step by step. I have managed to achieve my objective and I feel fulfilled.”

The young striker talked to La Gazzetta dello Sport: “After the game, president Fabrizio Corsi relayed a message from Giuseppe Marotta. I was flattered by it, but I got a lot of texts that made me happy after the brace. Owner Steven Zhang and sporting director Piero Ausilio reached out too, and it was thrilling. I simply replied that I wished to have boosted their chances to repeat.”

According to the publication, Inter will look to cash in on Pinamonti in the summer and already received a €25M offer from Eintracht Frankfurt. The forward weighed in on his future: “It is stimulating to know to have suitors in Italy and abroad. I wish to keep getting better in order for them to increase. In that way, I will have more options when the time comes. I aspire to be an important player in a top team, without taking anything away from Empoli. I will be forever grateful to them for the opportunity to showcase my skill. However, my goal is to raise the bar and arrive at a bigger club with a starring role, not as a backup.”
