Juventus hosted Torino in the famous Turin derby, otherwise known as the derby Della Mole. Marco Giampaolo’s men took a surprising early lead through Nicolas Nkoulou as the Bianconeri looked shell-shocked. But luckily for Andrea Pirlo, Juan Cuadrado saved the day with two fabulous assists as his side earned a late 2-1 win. Here are our player ratings for the encounter between Juventus and Torino.

Wojciech Szczęsny – 7
The Polish goalkeeper kept Juventus in the match as he denied a second Torino goal by Simone Zaza, and was on-alert whenever called upon.
Matthijs De Ligt – 6
The former Ajax captain found some trouble containing Belotti’s danger, but his strong challenge on Linetty was crucial to deny another goal for the Granata
Leonardo Bonucci – 6.5
The Juventus captain – along with his fellow defenders – was having a torrid time in the first half, but ended up being the hero of derby as he notched a late winner.

Perhaps the Brazilian’s worst showing of the season so far. Left some spaces behind that the Torino forwards were able to exploit, and failed to add a significant contribution while supporting the Juventus attacks.
Juan Cuadrado – 7.5
After a forgettable first half, the Colombian wing-back was the catalyst behind the Bianconeri’s come-from-behind victory. Scored a goal that was disallowed for an offside on Bonucci, but then set up his teammates with two identically brilliant crosses for the goals.
Rodrigo Bentancur – 5.5
The Uruguayan earned his starting spot after a solid performance against Dynamo Kyiv, but couldn’t duplicate his performance from mid-week.
Adrien Rabiot – 6
A hard working display from the former PSG man. Tried to make several runs into the opposition box but lacked the quality on the ball.
Federico Chiesa – 6
The Italy international definitely doesn’t lack the courage, and he tried to receive the ball as much as possible and make something happen. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for him tonight as he was denied most of the time by the opposition defences.
Dejan Kulusevski – 5
The young Swedish is not enjoying his best period at the moment, and tonight he failed to infiltrate inside the Torino box when Juventus where in desperate need for a player with his skill-set.
Paulo Dybala – 5
Speaking of Juve players who are having a difficult moment, La Joya once again failed to impress this season. He did set up Chiesa on one occasion, but aside from that his usual brilliant touch was nowhere to be seen.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 6
The Portuguese legend’s impressive scoring run was put to a halt as he suffered in the absence of a true striker like Alvaro Morata beside him, and was well-marked by the Granata defenders all night.
Juventus Substitutes
Aaron Ramsey – 6
The former Arsenal man’s introduction helped in augmenting the pressure on the Torino defences, as Juventus were beginning to completely dominate the match.

Nicolas Nkoulou – 7
The Cameroon international surprisingly opened the scoring with a cool finish, and was a dominating presence for the first 75 minutes of the match.
Wilfried Singo – 6.5
The young winger is Torino’s revelation of the season. His pace and trickery caused trouble to the Bianconeri players.
Soualiho Meïté – 6.5
The tough Torino midfielder was behind the opening goal with a cheeky flick, and he helped his side in containing the Juventus players for most of the match.
Tomás Rincón – 6.5
Facing his old side, the Venezuelan was a commanding presence in the heart of the Granata midfield, and helped in launching several counter-attacks during the first half.
Karol Linetty – 6
The former Sampdoria man did well in the first half as he accompanied the two strikers in attack and linking up the midfield with the attack. But Iike several of his teammates, regressed in the second half.
Cristian Ansaldi – 5.5
The Argentine veteran did his part in denying the dangerous Juventus right flank in the first half, but Cuadrado had the last laugh.
Simone Zaza – 6
The former Juventus man could have broken his old supporters’ hearts with a second goal when he found himself one-on-one against Szczęsny, but he was denied by the Polish man. He wasn’t happy with Giampaolo’s decision to substitute him.
Andrea Belotti – 6.5
The Torino captain was a true menace for the Juventus defenders who found it hard to deal with his pace and tricks, and could have scored a spectacular goal in the first half.
