After spending an entire summer dealing with Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer saga and chasing Manuel Locatelli’s signature, Juventus directors have now shifted their focus towards other issues, with their main priority at the moment being the renewals of some of the expiring contracts. The Bianconeri have five players amongst their ranks whose current deals run out by the end of the campaign. So which ones should be kept in Turin, and which should be allowed to embark on new adventures?
Mattia Perin (Goalkeeper)
The 28-year-old joined the club in 2018 following Gianluigi Buffon’s initial departure, but was then sent back to Genoa on loan after the legend’s return to Turin a year later.
The Italian finds himself acting as Wojciech Szczesny backup, even though the latter committed several howlers at the start of the campaign.
It just feels as if Perin is simply not meant to be the Old Lady’s number one, but perhaps he can still become a stalwart at another major club.
Our Verdict: Release
David Ospina, Salvatore Sirigu, and Andrea Consigli are the names to replace Mattia Perin who will leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

Mattia De Sciglio (Fullback)
After spending a season at Lyon, the fullback’s services were once again called upon, and his chances of earning playing time were supposed to be bolstered by the return of his favorite manager, Massimiliano Allegri.
Nonetheless, the former Milan man is struggling for playing time with only two starts so far this season.
The Italian is currently on an expiring contract, and it’s hard to imagine him at Juventus beyond the current campaign.
Our Verdict: Release
JUST IN: Juventus aren't thinking of extending Mattia de Sciglioʼs contract, which is about to end next summer.

Juan Cuadrado (Winger)
Despite celebrating his 33rd birthday, the Colombian still appears to be in the best shape of his career.
The former Chelsea and Fiorentina man provides a burst of energy from the right wing and is truly beloved by his teammates and fans alike.
The Bianconeri are expected to extend his stay in Turin with a new a deal that could come to light sometime in the next few weeks.
Our Verdict: Keep
After Paulo Dybala [final details then contract to be signed until June 2025], Juventus will complete the agreement with Juan Cuadrado. Current deal expiring in June 2022 – but Juventus will extend Colombian winger contract soon. ⚪️?? #Juventus
New deal expected until June 2023.

Federico Bernardeschi (Winger)
The Euro 2020 winner is a curious cause. Although he has been unable to fulfill the early promise that triggered his move to the club back in 2017, he remains a player who is well-appreciated by his managers (at both club and international levels).
The former Fiorentina winger still has some value to his name, and perhaps Juventus should try to capitalize on it.
Ideally, Juventus should try to renew his deal (perhaps at lower figures) and then wait for some decent proposals from the transfer market.
Our Verdict: Keep
❗️| Federico Bernardeschi’s contract with Juventus expires at the end of the season, he has not yet convinced the Juve management of a meeting for the renewal. It will take many excellent performances to extend his stay at Juve. (@cmdotcom)

Paulo Dybala (Striker)
In the last few years, free agency has become a more popular trend. We all witnessed how Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, David Alaba and even Leo Messi switched clubs on Bosman deals in the summer.
But despite behind less than a year away from enjoying free agency, Paul Dybala only has eyes for one club, and he’s adamant on renewing his stay at Juventus rather than see out his expiring contract.
With Ronaldo out of the club, the Old Lady has very few world class players remaining within the roster. Therefore, maintaining the Argentine is simply a must.
Our Verdict: Keep
❗️| Paulo Dybala will sign the contract renewal until 2026 by the end of this month. The player will earn €10M that’s including bonuses. (@Gazzetta_it) pic.twitter.com/Vdv7no4yfB
