Agent Spills the Beans on Meret, Arthur, and Inter Pair

Agent Federico Pastorello will have his hands full in January and next summer as a few of his clients might transfer or need to get their contracts renewed. He addressed some of them talking to Tuttomercatoweb.

“I had some contacts with Napoli concerning Alex Meret’s extension. He’s very happy with how the season is going. He’s been with them for five years and is very comfortable. I can’t rule out an agreement, but the negotiation is its early stages. The important thing is that the parties are in touch.”

Pastorello took stock of Arthur.

“The Partenopei never asked for him last summer. We need to find a solution. It’s a pity to see somebody like him not get minutes. Unfortunately, he’s not part of Juventus’ plans, even though he could give them something different considering their new scheme. We accept and respect their decision. We’ll find a new team in January. There have been some conversations with Olympique Marseille. Roberto De Zerbi could be interested in somebody like him. We’ll see. They had some issues with signing extra-EU players, so it wasn’t easy to pull it off in the past window.”

Pastorello represents both Francesco Acerbi and Stefan De Vrij, and one of them might leave Inter at the end of the season.

“It’s still very early. There are some clauses that could end or prolong their relationship with the side. Our duty is to keep our eyes open. We’ll have to search for suitable landing spots if the team decides not to keep them. However, both would be happy to stay put.”
