Arsenal Forward Demands to Outpocket Veteran Ibrahimovic to Join Milan

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s wage demands is putting off teams in contention for his signature, including former club Milan. Having fallen out with the Gunners management and coach Mikel Arteta due to his recent disciplinary breaches, Aubameyang is looking for a way out of Emirates Stadium.

His latest shenanigans have prompted the club to strip him off his captaincy and forced him to train alone ever since. With only few days left in the January transfer window, the Gabon international is still in the dark regarding his next destination. He has not played for Arsenal since the club’s disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Everton at Goodison Park in the beginning of December.

According to reports from British outlet Mirror, Milan are keen on reinforcing their attack with the presence of the former Rossoneri striker, who was loaned out throughout his tenure at San Siro.

However, Aubameyang’s wage demands is most likely to turn Milan’s interest off. He expects to earn atleast twice of Milan’s highest earner Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s wages. Ibra earns approximately €150k per week in wages. In stark contrast, the 32-year-old forward rakes in €420k per week at Arsenal.

It is highly unrealistic that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will agree to the demands of the Arsenal striker, having only just onboarded Serbian teenage sensation Marko Lazetic as Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud’s understudy.

Aubameyang has interest from Saudi clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, and also Juventus and Barcelona.
